A huge thank you to Bath Fiber Optic Alliance, and especially Marcy and Christian Leger, for their recent gift to the library of two Meeting Owl 3s and a wireless projector.
This generous gift was purchased by the Bath Fiber Optic Alliance with a grant from the Maine Connectivity Authority to support PFL’s efforts in promoting digital equity and connectivity. One Meeting Owl will be used for National Digital Equity Center classes at PFL and other hybrid programs, and the second will be added to our collection of Unusual Things to Borrow and will soon be available to library cardholders to check out. The wireless projector will be used as a part of PFL’s ever expanding offering of hybrid classes and presentations, and will allow us to offer said classes in alternative spaces.
