Looking for a fun summer reading goal? Consider reading your way through the 2020 Teens’ Top Ten Award nominees, which were announced last week by YALSA (the Young Adult Library Services Association). Teen book groups around the country have been reading and selecting the nominees for the best Young Adult books published in 2019. Now your job is to read those nominees, and then vote on your favorites at the end of the summer. Yes, this award is a true teen readers’ choice award, with both the nominees AND the winners selected entirely by readers aged 12-18.
If you want to get started, you will find many of these books currently available as downloadable audiobooks or ebooks from our Cloud Library service (see links below). And you will find many of these books on Patten’s physical shelves, once we are able to reopen our doors!
