About the Friends

FRIENDS OF PFL PLANNING CHILDREN BOOK SALE 2015The purpose of the Friends is to:

–        promote the resources and services of the Library

–        sponsor programs of general interest

–        generate financial support for the Library


The Friends’ activities include:

–        organizing and running the Annual Heritage Days Book Sale and the Children’s Book Sale

–        managing and staffing the library bookstore

–        planning additional fund raising efforts, programs and social events

–        holding an Annual Meeting that features speakers on topics related to books and authors

Pick up a membership form at the Library, the library bookstore, or print the online form. Return the completed form with your tax deductible dues ($15 for individual, $20 for family) by dropping it off at the Library or by mailing it to The Friends of PFL, 33 Summer St., Bath, ME 04530.
