Spark’s Ark Is Coming to Library Park!

Sparks’ Ark Animal Services is visiting Library Park for a “Summer Saturday” program!  Spark’s Ark has been loving animals and educating the public for over 30 years.  For this program, the Spark’s Ark staff will bring out some of the live animals  (of all kinds!) that they have rehabilitated on their private reserve. Earth Jams: Family Concert in Library Park

“The Life of Istar: The Story of a Real Humpback Whale”

Join us for the last “Summer Saturday” in Library Park.  It’s going to be quite a finale: The Children’s Museum & Theatre of Maine will present The Life of Istar!  Using storytelling, props, artifacts, and a LIFE-SIZE HUMPBACK WHALE MODEL, participants will learn the life story of Istar, a real humpback whale who lived in the Atlantic Ocean.  All aboard for a whale-watching adventure!
