Just before the Library closure in March, we had a very well-attended open mic night for teens. The event showcased a lot of talent from Morse High School. We’re continuing to build a sense of community around sharing talents with an on-line version of the open mic event. Every Friday, we’ll post a new “performance” by a Morse High School student (or any high school student who resides in our service area). We’ll keep an archive of all the performances, too.
Contact Roberta Jordan (firstname.lastname@example.org) if you want to create a set to share. Your set can be just an audio recording or a video clip; you can include up to three songs/pieces. We’d love some poetry readings, instrumentals . . .all genres of performance welcome.
Click here to listen to this week’s set . . . Hadley Wong, a sophomore at Morse High School, performs an original song, “When Is Now?”
