In this race-based drama, a light-skinned black woman “passes” for white falls in love with a white doctor while in nursing school in the north. She confronts many harsh realities when she returns home to the south and her mother.

All you have to do is enjoy the movie before the discussion night! Pinky is available for free through interlibrary loan, but you can also stream it through TCM (Turner Classic Movies).
