International Tabletop Game Day

April 28, 2018 @ 10:00 am - 3:00 pm

The 1990s saw a resurgence of interest in board games. Games like Settlers of Catan, which first came out in 1996, have helped spawn a huge industry and following.  International Tabletop Game Day is for people and families who love to engage around board games involving strategy, a love or history or geography, fantasy worlds, and more. The event is free and open to all.  No prior experience with board games is necessary, although most games are best for ages eight and up.

The event will run from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.   There will be at least five tables of organized play, with scheduled games run by volunteers, who will explain the rules and strategies for newcomers. The full schedule and game descriptions can be found on the Facebook event page by clicking here. Participants may walk in on the day of the event, or register on-line in advance for the games they know they want to play.  We will post a registration form here by the week before the event.

Participants can also bring their own favorite games to play at one of the free game tables, or browse and choose a game from the game library that will be on display.  There are many ways to enjoy the day, so be sure to join us.
