PFL book Group meets in person on the 2nd Thursday of each month for a reading discussion. We select a pair of books – one fiction, one nonfiction – to discuss each month. The titles for Fall are selected in September, the titles for Spring in January. New members are always welcome!

May 9: Fiction: The Birth House by Ami McKay, and Nonfiction: A Midwife’s Tale: The life of Martha Ballard based on her diary, 1785-1812 by Laurel Thatcher Ulrich . 

June 13: Fiction: The Heaven and Earth Grocery Store by James McBride and Nonfiction:  Lest Innocent Blood Be Shed: The Story of the Village of Le Chambon and How Goodness Happened There by Phillip Halli.
