In The Book of Pride, you’ll meet the leaders and activists on the front lines of the LGBTQ civil rights movement, from the 1960s to the present, through stunning interviews with 75 LGBQT pioneers and elders, compiled and presented by author Mason Funk and OUTWORDS (theoutwordsarchive.org).

Founded in 2016 by Mason Funk, an Emmy-nominated filmmaker from Los Angeles, OUTWORDS is an award-winning nonprofit dedicated to collecting, preserving, and sharing the stories of LGBTQ pioneers and elders across the United States.
