Practice Radical Generosity on GivingTuesday (November 30)
Citizen across the globe are invited to participate in a day of Radical Generosity on November 30, 2021. What is radical generosity? It’s the idea that giving is more than charitable, it’s an affirmation of human solidarity. Consider an act of Radical Generosity towards Patten Free Library:
Your support this year has helped us serve our community during an unsettled time. We have been able to boost our WiFi signal and expand our outdoor seating. We’ve engaged a batch of budding bakers with our virtual Edible Book contest. With a grant from the McKeen Center for the Common Good, we’re able to launch a Homebound Delivery service. Your support will help us to maintain and expand the program. Our Town History Series broke attendance records and our History Room programming has allowed us to connect with former neighbors living in distant states. Our Poetry Walk celebrating National Poetry Month was widely appreciated by community members. Our computer access and in-person support remains as popular as ever. Youth have been able to participate in story times, art lessons, nature experiments, take-home STEM and craft kits, and so much more. We have been able to create new connection opportunities because of your financial commitment to our mission. Will you help us with a gift today so that we may continue to innovate and serve our community? Learn more here about how you can help!
