Comics, Manga, and Anime
In addition to our print collection of comics and manga, we have a subscription to ComicsPlus. Use your Patten Free Library card to access thousands of digital comics, graphic novels, and manga!
Downloadable Ebooks and Audiobooks
Your Patten Free Library card provides you with access to the Maine Infonet Download Library, an online collection of digital books and audiobooks. If you have a library card and a reading device, tablet, or smartphone, you are ready to read and/or listen. Visit the Cloud Library website to get started or ask any of the librarians at the Information Desk for assistance.
Can’t Find What You Want in Our Collection?
If we don’t have the title you want, it can usually be ordered easily from another Maine library using the catalogs of Minerva or MaineCat. Call or stop by the Information Desk, and we’ll show you how to place requests in these catalogs. When the book is ready for pick-up, you get a call or an email. It’s simple.

Our Teen Librarians will put together a bag of five books for you, based on the genres and titles that you’ve liked in the past. Download and print the BookMatch Bundle paper form or fill out the online form.
