On June 3rd at 10:30 AM, Karen Richard will present a workshop on genealogy, particularly geared to beginners. She will deal with the ever-present problem of organization, so a researcher will always know what evidence they have and where they found it, as well as what information they need to find. Karen will also spend time on the various resources and teaching tools associated with Ancestry.com so that searches will be efficient, and not just an endless series of fruitless hours, bouncing around the website. Other topics will be addressed lightly during the workshop. If you want to begin exploring your family, this is the place to start. Space is limited, so please call 443-5141, extension 18 to register. Presented by the Sagadahoc History & Genealogy Room.
