During “Invisible Xylophone,” students will create an invisible instrument that beeps a tune as they wave a wand! Participants will connect sensors that detect the wand’s motion, add a light that changes color, attach speakers that beep the notes, and learn the coding that allows the wand to control the speaker. The program is free, and will be offered by Gizmo Garden at Patten Free Library. Up to 12 students in grades six to eight can participate. Sign up is required through the Reference Desk (firstname.lastname@example.org, 443-5141, ext. 12). Snacks provided.
